About Us

Country Place Veterinary Clinic was established in 1990 as a full-service veterinary medical facility to serve the people of St. Martinville, La and surrounding communities. The goal of Dr. Jackie Simon and her professional and courteous staff is to provide quality medicine and surgery services while educating pet owners in the art of preventative medicine. We are commited to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health related educational opportunities for our clients.

Dr. Simon is a member of the Acadiana Area Veterinary Association, the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Lafayette Parish Animal Control Advisory Board. She worked closely with the St. Martin Humane Society at its inception to promote the Spay/Neuter Program and Adoption Program. She has also worked with the Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Kiwanis Club, 4-H Clubs, and Trinity Catholic School organizations. In 2006, Country Place Veterinary Clinic was awarded the prestigious Good Neighbor Award by the Better Business Bureau and was recognized as a runner-up for the Customer Commitment Award.
